found an interesting article on attik from computer arts, interesting to read about how attik balance a commercial attitude with an artistic one, especially since the two dont necessarily go that well together some times, and about the importance of promotion, and about honing ones craft, i will analyse the article in more depth, and make some notes about it for the essay

Attik Design.
One of my favourite Design companies, and a company i have chosen to write an essay on, originally based in Leeds, Attik now have offices in several major cities, their specialty is to create quirky designs and to bring brands to life in unusual ways; One of the most well known designs of theirs was for the scion XD car line (which they still currently work on for several models) they created a series of adverts dubbed "the little deviants." this series of advertisments is one of attik's more successful works, communicating and presenting in a brand in the exact same way they had intended, it is very unusual for a car advert to be a tale of non conformist monsters wreaking havoc on the inhabitants of a city, told in the style of a dark and twisted fairy tale.
though majority of their adverts for the scion cars are unrelated, they keep the target audience in mind very well, understanding the nature of the target market and keeping a theme that they find relatable, in this case, the cars are aimed at young adults and subsequent subcultures, where non conformity is a large part of their way of life.

will be posting more on attik and their work. but for now thats all ive looked at in relative depth.
